A bit about me

A bit about me

Thoughtful design, built with care and intention.

I’m a Product and UX/UI Designer with a background in creative strategy, communications and digital storytelling. Over the past decade, I’ve moved from leading brand and communications work for cultural and not-for-profit organisations into designing products and platforms that help people navigate complex experiences with confidence.

These days, I design interfaces for brand and product transformation projects in fast-moving agency environments. I enjoy the balance of big-picture thinking and hands-on execution — building component libraries, shaping design systems and creating conversion-focused interfaces that still feel human and considered. I work closely with developers, strategists and stakeholders to keep ideas grounded and outcomes clear.

My recent work includes UX and UI design for multimedia installations at the Australian War Memorial, fertility healthcare tools supporting LGBTQI+ communities, and AR gaming experiences that call for strong interaction and spatial thinking. Across all projects, I rely on user research, prototyping and clear documentation to guide decisions and reduce complexity.

What ties my work together is a focus on clarity and empathy. My communications background means I’m comfortable navigating stakeholder conversations, explaining design decisions, and connecting user needs with broader goals. I care deeply about making things that work well for people — not just in theory, but in practice.

I’m looking for opportunities with teams solving interesting problems through thoughtful, human-centred design, where curiosity, collaboration and craft are genuinely valued.

I’m especially drawn to projects that advocate for inclusivity, diversity and positive social change. Being part of the LGBTQI+ community, I believe design has the responsibility to elevate underrepresented voices and make digital spaces welcoming for all.

When I’m not designing, I’m writing and producing music and exploring emerging technologies like AR, VR and generative AI — and dreaming about how they can shape the next wave of human experiences.
